³ All the latter kings gathered in the Valley of Siddim, that is, the Dead Sea. ⁴ For twelve years they were vassals of Chedorlaomer, but in the thirteenth year they rebelled against him.

⁵ In the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings allied with him arrived and defeated the Rephaim in Ashteroth-karnaim, the Zuzim in Ham, the Emim in Shaveh-kiriathaim
